I'm going to provide you with a very straightforward way for you to know. It's a number...TEN. You need to be generating at least 10 LEADS PER DAY to your network marketing opportunity. This is a number game and out of 10 leads per day, you can expect that 1 person will upgrade and join you in your business (if your marketing is focused). This may not take place immediately but will in due course.

1. Attraction Marketing: People eventually buy from people they know and have faith in. Branding yourself as a leader, either online or offline, will have customers coming to you. This marketing approach will help you to generate those "auto-pilot" leads that you so often hear about. It takes a little time to get rolling but is well worth your time and energy.
Some other steps that you can take to begin developing your personal brand is to establish a blog, join social network sites and forums, and essentially just start getting your name out there. IMPORTANT: When you create your profiles, make sure you use your real name and post pictures of yourself. DO NOT use a picture of your dog for your personal info or some cartoon picture. People need to get to know YOU!
2. Auto-Responder: This should be an approved but I am always surprised at how many people do not have the facility of an auto-responder. You need to build your own list and you also need to be able to follow-up with your leads via email. It has been said that the typical network marketer needs to see a package 7 times before they purchase. This is exactly why you need to have your message and your name in front of your prospects. This also helps to build faith.
3. Lead Capture Page: You can either use a company supplied capture page or create your own. Either way, you need one! A standard lead capture page will record the prospects name and email address. I use lead capture pages along with attraction marketing since I feel that you need both. Then, you need to decide where you are going to publicize your lead capture page. Some places to consider include Google Adwords, List Builders, & Social Media.
Between capturing leads on your blog or through your lead capture page, you should be getting at least the name and email address of 10 people per day. When you have this particulars in your auto-responder, you have a lead. 10 leads per day will make you rolling along in the right direction and network marketing success fast!
